Level 39 [better] | Hayday Farm Design
The Story Theme: "The Harvest Lodge & Tailor Shop"
The Concept: Your farm isn't just a workplace anymore; it has become a boutique destination. You have realized that the cold winters on the farm call for warm food and warm clothes. You have converted your farm into a cozy, high-end "Lodge" where town visitors come to eat gourmet pasta and buy custom wool hats.
Progression & Upgrades
At level 39, continue investing in:
- Silo capacity upgrades to handle diverse inventories.
- Additional plots if available, to rotate crops and avoid downtime.
- Cosmetic upgrades and decorations that fit a theme, improving enjoyment while keeping productivity intact.
Zone C: The Hot & Cold Line
- Grill, Pie Oven, Soup Kitchen, Deep Fryer belong together. These produce the "meal" items. Put them near the pig pens (bacon) and goat pens (goat cheese). The stench and smoke from these machines aesthetically fits next to the animal pens, not next to your pretty bakery.
1. The "Fruit Tree Cemetery"
Don't plant fruit trees (Apple, Cherry, Peach) in straight lines like a military graveyard. Trees die after 10 harvests. If they are in a straight line, your farm looks like a dead orchard. hayday farm design level 39
- Fix: Plant them in zig-zags or clusters of 3 around your decorative pond.
4. DECORATION & TOWN ENTRANCE (Bottom-right)
This is where I let creativity run wild.
- A winding gravel path from the main road to the Town Hall.
- Benches, lanterns, and pine trees along the path.
- A small picnic area (basket + table + flower bed) near the fishing pond edge.
The fishing area itself: I placed the tackle maker near the water, surrounded by reeds and one single maple tree. Less clutter = more peaceful. The Story Theme: "The Harvest Lodge & Tailor
