وَأَسأَلُكَ اِن تَکُنَّ عَوْناً لِي وأسألک إن تَکُن عوناً لی

عَلَی مَشاغِلِ الدُّنیَا وَاِن تَکُن علی مشاغل الدنیا وإن تَکُن

On the troubles of this world, and if you are

فَضلاً لِقَضاءِ حَوائِجی فضلاً لقضاء حوائجی

A favor to fulfill my needs.

یا أَبا جَعْفَرٍ يَا جَعْفَرُ یا أبا جعفر یا جعفر

O Abu Ja'far, O Ja'far.

إِنَّهُ لَیسَ لَنا في الدُّنیَا غَنی إِنَّہ لیس لَنا في الدنیا غنی

Verily, we have no wealth in this world.

إِلّا اِن تَغنی عَنا بِفَضلِكَ إلا إن تغنی عنا بفضلک

Except if you enrich us with your favor.

یا جَعْفَرُ يَا أَبا جَعْفَرٍ یا جعفر یا أبا جعفر
