Report: Wrist Electronic Sphygmomanometer CK-102S — User Manual Overview
Measurement steps
- Press START/STOP – all symbols appear briefly, then cuff inflates.
- Remain still and silent during measurement.
- When finished, systolic, diastolic, and pulse appear on screen.
- Reading is automatically saved in memory.
- Press START/STOP to turn off (or it auto-shuts off after ~1 minute).
Using the Memory Function
The CK-102S automatically saves your readings so you can share them with your doctor.
- Viewing History: In power-off mode, press the Memory (MEM) button. The screen will show the average of the last three readings.
- Scrolling: Press the MEM button again to scroll through individual readings. The device usually stores the last 60 measurements, with the most recent appearing first.
- Clearing Memory: To clear the memory, usually, you need to remove the batteries (which wipes the data) or hold the MEM button down for several seconds while the device is off (consult your specific unit’s back label for exact instructions).
Error messages and troubleshooting
- E1/E2 or "Err": cuff not applied correctly or movement—reposition cuff, remain still.
- "Lo Bat": replace batteries.
- Inflation failure: batteries weak or device obstructed—replace batteries, inspect cuff/tubing.
- Abnormal readings: repeat measurement after 2–3 minutes; if still abnormal, consult clinician.
Step 3 – Apply the Wrist Cuff
- Expose your wrist (roll up sleeves).
- Wrap the cuff around your left wrist (unless otherwise advised by your doctor).
- Align the cuff so the display faces your palm.
- The edge of the cuff should be about 1–1.5 cm (0.5 inch) below the base of your palm.
- Fasten snugly—not too tight (you should barely fit one finger under the cuff).
