Choose a relay located outside the corporate network (e.g., a cheap VPS in a neutral jurisdiction).
Configure the client to use that relay (see Section 4).
Set the browser’s proxy to 127.0.0.1:1080.
Test by opening a blocked site (e.g., a news outlet).

Result: The request is encapsulated inside TLS, which looks like regular HTTPS traffic, so most firewalls will allow it.
