Quick-start essentials
- Unboxing: Remove all packing materials, check for included accessories (power cable, manual, remote, filters, trays, screws).
- Placement: Give the device solid, level surface; keep vents unobstructed and allow a few inches clearance on all sides.
- Power-up: Use the supplied cable or a matching replacement rated for the device; plug into a grounded outlet. Turn the main switch on and allow a brief initial self-check or warm-up.
- Basic operation: Identify the power/control buttons, indicators (LEDs/icons), and any mode selector — start in the simplest mode to confirm proper function.
4. Bluetooth Connection
- Turn on the speaker by pressing and holding the Power Button for 3 seconds.
- You will hear a prompt tone (e.g., "Power on" or a beep), and the LED light will flash Blue, indicating it is ready to pair.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone or tablet.
- Search for available devices and select "Technika SPB112" from the list.
- Once connected, the LED light will stop flashing and remain solid (or flash slower), and you may hear a confirmation tone.
Pairing Bluetooth (The Tricky Part)
- Press Mode until you see a blinking Blue light.
- On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings and scan.
- Look for "Technika SPB112" (or "SPB112").
- Tap to pair. You will hear a confirmation tone.
Troubleshooting: If it doesn't appear, turn the speaker off, wait 10 seconds, and try again. The device automatically enters pairing mode when no device is connected.
