2. Block Diagram
The block diagram is the single most important page. It shows how signal flows from the mic preamp, through the EQ, aux sends, pan pot, fader, and finally to the group/master busses. Without this, troubleshooting dead channels is guesswork. Power – Check voltage selector (115V/230V)
2. Quick Start: Setting Up
- Power – Check voltage selector (115V/230V). Use the standard IEC cable.
- Outputs – Connect Group Outs 1–4 to your interface/recorder. For stereo mix, use Groups 1 & 2 or the dedicated Main L/R (if equipped – some 12-4 models use Group 1/2 as main).
- Monitoring – Connect control room speakers to the Control Room Out. Headphones to Phones jack.
- Sources – Plug mics/lines into mono channels, synths/keyboards into stereo channels.
