How to Pair / Sync a PX-RC1 (If Wireless)

Some newer PX-RC1s use 2.4GHz wireless (no line of sight required). If yours does not work out of the box:

  1. Insert fresh batteries into the remote.
  2. Power on your device (projector, light, slider).
  3. Locate the "Pair" button – On the remote, it is often a tiny pinhole near the bottom or under the battery cover. Use a paperclip to press and hold it for 3 seconds.
  4. On your device: Look for a "Remote Pair" option in the settings menu. Select it.
  5. The remote LED should blink then stay solid. Press "OK" to confirm.

🛈 If you do not see a pairing option: Your remote is Infrared (IR) . Just point and click – no pairing needed. px-rc1 remote control manual

Version A: The Projector Remote (Most Common)

  • Look for: Power, Menu, Source, Volume (+/-), Keystone, OK/Enter.
  • Used with: Mini projectors (eg, Piqo, VATM, or generic LED projectors).
  • Key function: The red "Source" button switches between HDMI, USB, and AV.

Maintenance

  • Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or solvents.
  • Avoid dropping or exposing to moisture/heat.

Problem 3: Works only from 1 foot away

  • Diagnosis: Weak IR emitter. This is usually due to low battery voltage (even new batteries can be bad) or a cracked solder joint on the IR LED inside the remote.
  • Fix: Open the remote (remove batteries, unscrew 1-2 small screws). Press the circuit board down gently. If it works, use a piece of tape to hold the board tight against the rubber buttons.

European Union

DisCo is dedicated to examining technology and policy at a global scale.  Developments in the European Union play a considerable role in shaping both European and global technology markets.  EU regulations related to copyright, competition, privacy, innovation, and trade all affect the international development of technology and tech markets.

Intellectual Property

The Internet enables the free exchange of ideas and content that, in turn, promote creativity, commerce, and innovation. However, a balanced approach to copyright, trademarks, and patents is critical to this creative and entrepreneurial spirit the Internet has fostered. Consequently, it is our belief that the intellectual property system should encourage innovation, while not impeding new business models and open-source developments.
