Step 6: Write Back to the Radio

1. From the main menu, choose F2 – Read Radio.
2. RSS will attempt to connect. If successful, you’ll hear a “clunk” from the radio (internal relay). The channel data will populate on screen.
3. Troubleshooting: If you get “Communication Error” or “Radio Not Detected”:
   • Check the RIB battery (replace with fresh 9V).
   • Ensure the radio is powered ON.
   • Slow down your CPU. Use MOSLO (Mo’Slo) utility to throttle cycles: MOSLO /2 GP868.exe.
   • Verify your COM port address (IRQ conflicts are common).
