Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Once the vs_community.exe (or your edition's installer) is downloaded:
- Run the installer as Administrator.
- The Visual Studio Installer will launch. Click "Install" next to VS 2019.
- Select your Workloads. This is the most important step. Check only what you need:
- ASP.NET and web development (for web apps)
- .NET desktop development (for WinForms/WPF)
- Desktop development with C++ (for C++ apps)
- Game development with Unity (for Unity scripters)
