Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Once the vs_community.exe (or your edition's installer) is downloaded:

1. Run the installer as Administrator.
2. The Visual Studio Installer will launch. Click "Install" next to VS 2019.
3. Select your Workloads. This is the most important step. Check only what you need:
   • ASP.NET and web development (for web apps)
   • .NET desktop development (for WinForms/WPF)
   • Desktop development with C++ (for C++ apps)
   • Game development with Unity (for Unity scripters)
4. Click Install and grab a coffee – this takes 10–30 minutes depending on your internet speed.
5. Once complete, launch VS 2019. Sign in with your Microsoft account (free for Community) to unlock the license.
