Metin2 Chuong Location Fixed [Extended - RELEASE]

In the world of , hunting bosses like is a core part of the mid-game progression, especially for players looking to farm equipment or complete Horse Quests. A common challenge for players is identifying his "fixed" spawn points, as he appears across Map 2 for all three kingdoms. General Overview

is a Level 45 Grade 4 boss. He is categorized as a Half-Human monster with Wind Resistance. While he doesn't have a singular "fixed" spot that never changes, he spawns in specific regions of each kingdom's second map with a predictable cooldown. Spawn Locations by Kingdom

According to the official Metin2 Wiki, Chuong can be found in the following areas:

(Jinno): Located in the "Map 2" region of the blue kingdom. Spawns typically occur in two areas: one in the upper section and one in the lower section.

(Chunjo): The Map 2 of the yellow kingdom. He spawns in two distinct areas, often referred to as the "left" and "right" spawn points.

(Shinsoo): The Map 2 of the red kingdom. Similar to Bokjung, he has two spawn points (left and right). Spawn Mechanics & Timing Understanding his spawn cycle is key to efficient farming: metin2 chuong location fixed

Quantity: There are exactly 2 Chuong spawns per channel in each map.

Cooldown: His respawn timer is approximately 17 to 22 minutes, depending on the specific spawn point and map.

Group Composition: He never spawns alone. He is always accompanied by 1 Black Wind Gu-Ryung, 1 Black Wind Jak-To, 1 Black Wind To-Su, and 2 Black Wind Archers. Notable Loot & Drops

Farming Chuong is popular because he drops a variety of weapons and armor suitable for levels 30–50:

Weapons: Full Moon Sword (FMS) (rarely), Orchid Sword, Half Moon Sword, and Twelve Spirit Sword. Armor: Lion Plate Armor and Ant Lion Suit. Other: Mocking Helmet, Ebony Earrings, and Jade Necklace. In the world of , hunting bosses like

Quests: He is a target for the Level 13 Horse Quest and the "They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind" Mission Book.

Pro Tip: If you can't find him at a known spot, try switching channels (CH switching) immediately. Since there are only two per channel, high-traffic servers often have players timing these spawns. Presentation - Projekt-Hard.eu

Many old guides claim Chuong spawns in a single, precise spot. This causes confusion because the spawn mechanics were updated years ago.

Part 1: The Historical Problem – Why You Couldn't Find Chuong

Before we discuss the fixed location, you need to understand why this keyword became so popular.

Originally, Chuong (Stone of the Wind) spawned in a specific, narrow corridor leading to the Mana Temple’s inner sanctum. However, due to a map geometry error that persisted through multiple versions (including Gameforge, Webzen, and many private servers), Chuong had a broken spawn offset. Part 1: The Historical Problem – Why You

The Old Bug:

  • Chuong would spawn inside the wall or floor.
  • His aggro radius was active, so he could attack you, but you couldn't see or target him.
  • The minimap indicator would flicker, leading players to believe he was in a different room.

Consequently, players spent hours killing empty air, only to die from invisible "Stone Breath" attacks. This led to the widespread search for a "fixed" location.

Part 2: The Current "Fixed" Location (Post-2023 Patch)

As of the latest major patches (Q4 2023 – 2025), most official servers and optimized private servers have corrected the spawn coordinates for Chuong.

Where is Chuong NOW?

Chuong spawns in the Yellow Desert, but he no longer stays in one place. He patrols a large, specific area of the map.

How to get there (Step-by-Step):

  1. Enter the Snake Lair via the entrance in the Celestial Kingdom (map near the eastern mountains).
  2. Take the teleporter down to Floor 2 (B2 – the dark green/gray cave area).
  3. Walk to the South-Eastern corner of the map.
  4. You will see a small, square-shaped chamber with a snake statue in the middle.
  5. Chuong spawns exactly in the center of this room.

Note: If you are playing on a very old private server (pre-2018) or the classic Japanese version, Chuong may still roam. But in 95% of modern versions (including Gameforge, Webzen, and most private servers), the location is fixed as above.
