Cause: Two players have the same Hamachi IP. Fix: In Hamachi, right-click your name > Status details. If two people have 25.10.45.1, leave the network and rejoin. Let Hamachi assign a new one.

Issue 2: We connect, but the 3rd or 4th player lags horribly.

Cause: The host's internet upload speed is saturated. Grim Dawn uses a "lockstep" model. If the host's upload is slow, everyone lags. Step 1: Setting Up Hamachi

If you haven't done this before, here is the quick setup: Ensure Grim Dawn is updated to the latest version

1. Download Hamachi: Go to the official LogMeIn Hamachi website and download the unmanaged version.
2. Install & Sign Up: Install the software and create a free account.
3. Create a Network: Click the "Network" tab and select "Create a new network." Give it a name and a password.
4. Share Details: Send the Network ID and Password to your friend(s).
5. Join: Your friends must click "Join an existing network" and enter your details.

Tip: Hamachi has a limit of 5 players per network on the free version, which is usually more than enough for a Grim Dawn party.

Step 2 – Create or Join a Network

• One person creates a network:
  Open Hamachi → Network → Create a new network → Give it a name and password.
• Others join:
  Network → Join an existing network → Enter the same name and password.

All players should now see each other’s Hamachi IP addresses (e.g., 25.12.34.56) and a green dot for connected status.
