Game Fixes
- Automatic Game Fixes – must be ON (PCSX2 detects GoW and applies rendering fixes)
The 60 FPS Patch (Optional but Awesome)
PCSX2 has a built-in patches menu.
- Right-click
God of War in the game list → Properties → Patches.
- Find the
60 FPS patch for your game’s CRC. Enable it.
- Warning: This doubles the game speed trigger. Test it in the first Athens battle. If Kratos runs like Sonic, disable it. For most NTSC v1.00 copies, it works perfectly.
1) Download and Install PCSX2
- Go to the official PCSX2 site and download the latest stable installer for your OS.
- Run installer and install to a folder with write access (avoid Program Files permission problems).
