The EasyWorship 7 license file is a specialized digital key used primarily to activate the software on computers without an internet connection. To activate EasyWorship 7 offline, you must follow a two-machine process: On the Offline Computer:

Choose the Using a File tab and click Save to file to generate a "License ID" file on a flash drive. On an Online Computer: Log into your account at the EasyWorship Website.
Go to Product Licenses, click Add Computer, and upload the License ID file from your flash drive.

Part 6: Backup Strategy (Don't Lose Your License!)
Churches often have volunteer IT staff that turn over. Do not bury your .elic file in a random downloads folder.
The Safe Method (Deactivation)
On the OLD Computer:
- Open EasyWorship 7 > Settings > License.
- Click "Deactivate License."
- Confirm the deactivation. This removes the license from that PC and frees up a seat on the server.
- Optional: After deactivation, look for the
.elicfile inC:\ProgramData\EasyWorship\(This folder is hidden by default). Copy this file to a USB drive.
On the NEW Computer:
- Install EasyWorship 7.
- Use the "Install License File" method described in Part 3 using the file from your USB or the portal.
3. Your Old Computer (If transferring)
If the software is already activated on an old Windows PC, the license file is already applied. You need to deactivate or export it (see Part 4).

Error 1: “Invalid License File – This license is for a different product version.”
Cause: You are trying to use an EasyWorship 6 or 6.5 license file on EasyWorship 7. These are not interchangeable. Fix: You must upgrade your license (usually at a discounted rate) via the EasyWorship website. There is no backward compatibility.
