Older Toshiba driver packages for Mac are in .dmg format. Search the official Toshiba support site for "Mac OS X Driver for eS181" – note that this will not work on Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) Macs running macOS 11+.

Step 3: Manually Add the Printer
- Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners (Windows 11) or Devices and Printers (Windows 10).
- Click "Add device" or "Add printer".
- Wait for Windows to search. When the e-Studio 181 is not found (common), click "The printer that I want isn't listed".
- Select "Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings" and click Next.
- Choose "Create a new port" – select Standard TCP/IP Port.
- Enter the printer's IP address. Uncheck "Query the printer…" to speed up the process.
- Click "Have Disk".
- Browse to the folder where you extracted the drivers. Select the
.inf file (e.g., TOSHIBA_eSTUDIO181.INF).
- Select your printer model from the list and click Next.
- Choose "Replace the current driver" if prompted.
- Complete the wizard. Print a test page.
