Title: Where to download Antelope Orion 32 Control Panel? (Windows 11)

Post:

Hey everyone,

I just picked up a used Antelope Orion 32 (the original silver one, not the HD or 32+), and I’m trying to find the official control panel software for it.

The Antelope website seems to have removed legacy products, and I only see installers for the Orion Studio Synergy Core and newer interfaces. The old download section is redirecting.

Does anyone have a working link for the Orion 32 Control Panel v3.34 or later for Windows? I need it to manage routing and clocking.

Alternatively, if someone has the installer file saved, could you upload it? I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks!

If you want to post a solution instead (as a reply to yourself or others):

Solution: Found it. You need to go to the Legacy Software section on Antelope’s support page. Direct link:
https://en.antelopeaudio.com/support/legacy/

Then select Orion 32 (not +/HD/Synergy). The latest version for Windows is v4.5.0 (includes control panel + USB drivers). For macOS Mojave and earlier, use v3.34. Cause: USB bandwidth competition or wrong buffer size

Important: After installing, reboot and make sure the interface is connected via USB. The control panel won’t open if the drivers aren’t loaded.

Note for you (the user):
As of mid-2026, Antelope’s official legacy page remains active. Always download from antelopeaudio.com to avoid malware. The Orion 32 (original) uses a USB 2.0 connection and requires a separate driver + control panel—it is not class compliant.

2. Pre-Installation Checklist

Before running the installer, ensure your system is ready to avoid "Installation Failed" errors.

The Download Hunt

Finding the right version is its own ritual. Antelope’s support page separates files by connection type (USB vs. Thunderbolt) and OS version. A wrong choice means the panel won’t see the unit. The Orion 32 (original) uses a different control panel than the Orion 32+ or Orion 32 HD. Always match your exact hardware revision.

Official route:

  1. Go to Antelope Audio’s Support → Software & Downloads.
  2. Select “Orion 32” (not the ‘+’ or ‘Gen 3’ unless you have those).
  3. Download the Control Panel and the USB/Thunderbolt driver as a matched pair.

Pro tip: On Windows, install the driver first, reboot, then install the Control Panel. On macOS, the driver is often bundled inside the panel installer.
