Part 1: What Exactly is AA2 Hair V1?
Before touching any files, it’s crucial to understand what this mod does. aa2 hair v1 install
- Version 1 (V1): This is the foundational release of the "AA2 High Poly Hair Project." It replaces approximately 30 of the most common base hairstyles (short, long, ponytails) with higher polygon counts.
- Key Features: Strand-based textures, dynamic bone physics (hair sway), and custom shaders that mimic hair gloss.
- Compatibility: Designed for the base AA2 with the AA2 Uncensor Patch and AA2 Wide Slider mod. It will not work on a completely vanilla, unmodded Japanese installation.
Important: There is an "AA2 Hair V2" and "V3" available in some archives. V1 is often recommended first because it is the most stable and has the broadest compatibility with older character cards. AA2 Hair v1 — Practical Installation Report
