5DM City SteamEMU Saves — Overview and Guide

1. Where are the saves located?

For most SteamEmu emulators, the game creates a specific folder in your Windows AppData directory.

Default Save Location:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\Saves\

How to find it quickly:

1. Press Windows Key + R on your keyboard to open the "Run" dialog box.
2. Paste the following command exactly: %localappdata%\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\Saves
3. Click OK. The folder containing your save games will open.

Location D: The Goldberg SteamEmu Specific Path (5DM Variant)

If the 5DM repack uses the latest Goldberg emulator, the save path is:

• Path: %AppData%\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves\(steam_appid)\remote\
  • Quick access: Press Win + R, type %AppData%\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves, press Enter.

Transferring Saves Between Repacks (PLAZA to RUNE etc.)

You have completed 30 hours on a PLAZA repack, but you find a RUNE repack with a newer update. Can you move 5dm city steamemu saves? Yes, but follow this precisely:

1. Find PLAZA saves: Usually at %AppData%\Local\PLAZA\5DMCity\remote.
2. Find RUNE saves: Usually at GameRoot\RUNE\remote.
3. Copy the .sav files from PLAZA to RUNE.
